A little about me

Healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

Whether you're living with the effects of trauma, grief, chronic illness, relationship stress, addiction recovery, or questions about identity, therapy can help you move beyond survival and toward a life with greater peace, resilience, and hope. My goal is to provide a compassionate, affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you heal.

My own experiences with trauma and chronic health challenges led me to discover the profound impact of EMDR, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and nervous system healing. Those experiences inspired me to become a therapist and continue to shape the empathy, curiosity, and respect I bring to every session.

I am an EMDR-trained therapist with a Ph.D. in Social Psychology specializing in women's health research and a Master of Social Work focused on trauma-informed care. I integrate EMDR, somatic techniques, mindfulness, person-centered, strength-based, and culturally sensitive approaches to help your nervous system process painful experiences, reduce the burden of the past, and create lasting change.

As a veteran's wife and Gold Star family member, I have a deep appreciation for the unique experiences of military families and the strength it takes to navigate loss, transition, and uncertainty. I also provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and specialize in supporting adults healing from trauma, grief, and the emotional impact of chronic illness.

Wherever you are in your journey, we'll work together to help you reconnect with your strengths, build resilience, and create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
